Sage COO Lee Perkins Departs

In a LinkedIn post dated April 20, 2022, Sage Group COO Lee Perkins announced his departure from Sage.

Perkins had two stints at Sage totaling around 8 years. He became the company’s first COO in August 2020 although prior to that, he held a number of executive positions at Sage.

He had recently disappeared from the Sage executive team page and had been less visible for the past several months.

In an August 2020 press release announcing Perkins as the company’s first COO his duties were described as:

responsibility for Sage’s operations across all regions, and its product teams. He will be accountable for the day-to-day execution against the strategy towards Sage’s vision of becoming a great SaaS company through our focus on customers, colleagues and innovation.
