Alliance Solutions Group May Have Found Permanent Home With Evergreen and Pine Services Group

In a move that could be more of a strategic acquisition than the private equity investments we’ve seen with other VARs, Evergreen has announced its investment in Alliance Solutions Group.

Evergreen, a conglomerate of managed IT services and software companies, is adding Alliance to its ERP partner portfolio under what appears to be a subsidiary named Pine Services Group, which describes its services as A permanent home for industry-leading software partners and independent software vendors (ISVs).

According to the press release, Alliance Solutions Group, a Sage partner specializing in Sage Intacct and Sage CRE products, will continue to operate independently. The Alliance management team, led by Mike Griffith, will remain at the helm, collaborating with Andy Rashid, Maggie Averso, and the extended Alliance team.

In September 2021, Alliance Solutions bought over 1,000 Sage clients from United Solutions Group – Southeast. These clients use Sage 100 Contractor and Sage 300 Construction & Real Estate software. Before the acquisition, Alliance Solutions had over 3,700 customers.

Alliance Solutions Group has carved out a unique space in the ERP industry since its inception in 2005. It has a track record of industry awards, particularly within the Sage ecosystem.

Recognized as the Sage Intacct CRE Partner of the Year for three consecutive years from 2020 to 2022, Alliance Solutions Group also received the Sage Platinum Elite Partner Award for FY20 and was named Sage CRE Marketing Partner of the Year in 2020. The company made it to the Sage Intacct President’s Club in the same year. In 2019, they were honored as a Sage Platinum Elite Partner and were named RedTeam Channel Partner of the Year. Furthermore, they’ve been awarded the Sage North America Business Partner of the Year, although the year for this award is not specified.

Evergreen’s investment aims to bolster Alliance’s market presence and facilitate further advancements in its service offerings. Katie Maley, M&A lead for Pine Services Group, emphasized that the investment in Alliance aligns with Evergreen’s strategy to invest in companies in a strong growth position within exciting ecosystems like Sage.
